A man like Assange(founder of Wikileaks) is living his life on the edge and operating in the grey area blurring the divisions of Right and Wrong. It seems unnatural that he should be viewed as a one upholding the values of freedom of speech (i.e. information.

Now that he's got the leaks of secret Swiss bank account holders, it's a matter of time before the true extent of which of the famous politician is holding how much amount in their secret account becomes public knowledge.

We at India, can't wait for the details of the Indian connection of the swiss bank secret account holders to come out in the open.

Satyam Saga

So, the Satyam saga continues, but it's been sold off to Tech Mahindra, right. Well, the bid price of Rs 58/share was the highest other bids at Rs 45/share and Rs 20/share were way too low. So, how can the bidders arrive at such widely divergent valuations.
Now comes the question of the future of 13,000 of bench strength of the employees or of the 6,500 of the new hires who were given their employment letters.
After any merger, take-over lay-offs are bound to happen, so there, the Satyam saga continues and we'll have to see if Tech Mahindra can restore it to its glory.

Golconda Fort

Today being a holiday,(Makarsakranti,Pongal,Lohri, Bihu) take ur pick. Took some time out to ride out to the Golconda fort in Hyderabad. It's a nice same day-inside city limits-getaway. For the next few days we would be seeing & listening to news about Satyam, how they don't have money to pay their employees salary for january, whether the no. of employees stated by them is 53,000 or is it 40,000.
Citibank has frozen the 30 bank accounts of satyam to cut its exposure to the company. At least 10,000 satyam employees may lose their job. The bank's have cut the credit limit of Satyam's employees.
What was Price Waterhouse Coopers auditing? If the company can submit bogus accounts for five quarters. Raju may be arrested today in Hyderabad, but the police is still waiting for any complaint before taking any action.
All the IT honchos of hyderabad are being very tight-lipped presumable because they have cordial relations with Raju.
Nasscom tries to say that it is a one-off incident this coming three days after the scandal broke out.
Sit back and watch the drama unfold,let the stink come out in the open.
